TRAINING OVERVIEW:
"Fundamentals of Mission Dental Care" is a great means of offering your mission students a valuable and practical skill. It consist of a 40 hour (five day) course preceded by selected reading material. It is intense and hands-on: a gentle approach; no scary needles or drills; great with kids.
We teach the A.R.T. (Artraumatic Restorative Treatment) technique of treating decayed teeth. It is growing in popularity globally and endorsed by the W.H.O. A.R.T. is a slow and gentle technique that is well tolerated by the most fearful of patients. It is more comfortable than standard techniques. No injections or powered drills are needed. Young children do very well with it.
